I am by no means an expert on health or healing. I do have a chronic illness and I know something about it from a patient's perspective, having lived with it for almost two decades. But that doesn't make me an expert. Sometimes people give me too much credit for the community and all the wonderful resources on HealingWell.com. It's really not me. I am just one of many that contribute their time and energy. It's true, I built the site and have spent years programming and re-programming the web site. And I have spend countless hours worrying about server issues, rapid member growth, making enough revenue to keep the site going, and keeping moderators happy. I do tweet little bits of wisdom on Twitter and Facebook now and then.
A word of caution, this blog is going to be a work in progress. I don't have the whole vision thing figured out yet. What will the blog focus on? Will it be therapeutic? Probably for me, I don't know about you. Informative? Possibly, but not as much as I'd like it to be. Insightful? I don't value my talents as a writer that much. Lengthy? I hope not! Collaborative? I'd love to see others contribute blog posts here too, I'm sure we have some great bloggers on HealingWell. I know I learn more by looking at things from another person's point of view. I think the blog is really going to be what you and I make of it. I will be looking to your comments for as much guidance and feedback as possible. So let's get the party started!
